Disappointing experience at this outlet. Per packet biriyani 200 tk, thats ok, but they dont have business ethics. All the 3 packets had same scenario, only few bones and fats, almost no meat. Taking premium price and serving food worst than roadside biriyani. I will definitely never try here again.

Place isn’t clean. A rush place with lot of crowd. Only maton biriyani is sold. Don’t have the charm of Haji Biriyani these days. Somewhat lost its popularity.

We reached here around 4 pm. There were a couple of guests in different seats. We had to wait for few minutes before we got seat for 4 of us. We then ordered biryani and burhani. The taste of biryani was good. It seemed to be made from authentic rice and the emanating smell was nice. The burhani was typical what we tasted in Bangladesh-perfect blend of sweet and sour. The interior wasn't something to be remembered but they get the fullmarks for their food quality.

Established in 1939. The taste is good, a bit different from all other Biriyani in old Dhaka. But disappointing thing is the price. 180/- tk per plate is way too much. The amount of meat is a bit less. But the place gives you a vibe of the authentic old dhaka, which is unique.
