I wonder if any other place can beat Star. There may be one or two who excel is either quality, service or price. But Star is the only one who gives you full package of menu, quality, service at a very affordable price.

Had lunch at their Banani outlet. It was buzzing as like any other branches. Food was on point; fresh and tasty and served within minutes.

Star is an institution, bot just another restaurant. And an institute I admire quite a lot. It’s not only the food, I like their business philosophy as well. Being one of the most popular place for deshi food in Dhaka, they could charge a premium. But they don’t. Their price point is even lower than the very average nondescript restaurants. I’ve been going to Star for 2 decades now. And I don’t hesitate to take my “foreign guests” there and they love the authenticity of the place. I’m quite sure food taste has been on the wane, but the quality that they still offer is better than most places. I love their faluda the most. To me it’s the best in the city. And a Gujrati friend of mine complemented it to be one of the very best he ever had! They know one or two things about Faluda surely! I’d love it if I can take my grandkids to Star one day and tell them about my university days when Star was the best that we could afford and we had so much fun there! Long live Star!

One of the popular restaurants with reasonable price in Dhaka. Iftar is also available here during ramadan time. Food Quality varies. Some foods are veey worthy and delicious, some are not.kachhi, keg roast, chicken jhal fry and chiken tikka are famous here.

Awesome place for fine dine and breakfast. The food is just delicious. One must try the mutton variations. I was unlucky that I couldn't try the mutton brains. If you are a tea lover, you cannot afford to it at any cost. Pls don't visit if you are a vegetarian.

It's a best place for breakfast, lunch evening snacks and dinner. I've tried few items from them and they were really tasty and reasonable price. I would definitely recommend people to go there but keep this in mind that it's very gathered place. And people are always in rush in there. So it's a good place for food but not a great place for quality time. Here's a picture of faluda from there and it was delicious.

I went there for iftar... It was quite crowded and noisy as always... Actually having went there for having some kebab and Nun's but unfortunately the kebab section was full. So just take Kacchi and Faluda as desert.
Kacchi is as always good in test but due to Iftar time that's why there Kacchi is less demand rather than the iftar platter.
I tried the Faluda for the first time and totally disappointed. It was below average in test. But more then enough for one person. Maybe my bad luck because their Faluda is good in test I heard buty experience is not satisfied.
