Still one of the best places in Dhaka city to bring your kids to have some great times. The place hasn't changed a little over the years or so and the attractions are still the same that was for me almost 40 years back. Our kids still enjoyed it with the same enthusiasm that we did. Will go over and over again. And it's a must go places for you all too.

A good place for kids and teenagers. In Dhaka this is the most attractive place for kids as because there's only few amusement parks are available. It's in Shahbagh opposite of Ramna park. In Friday rush is there. People tends to go there and you will find long queue to get a ride.

Shishu Park (Bengali: ঢাকা শিশু পার্ক) is the only public sector children's amusement park in Shahbag, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Established in 1979 on 15 acres (6.1 ha) of land, it is the first children's amusement park in Bangladesh.
Established as a profit making venture by Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, the government-owned tourism promotion agency in Bangladesh, it is maintained by Dhaka City Corporation as its only entertainment park since 1983.

The Oldest Amusement Park in Dhaka.
The 12 rides of the park include including a wheel train, a merry-go-round and a number of wheel-based rides. Bangladesh Air Force donated a fighter jet in 1992. The cheapest of all entertainment parks in Dhaka, charging BDT 20.00 for entry and 20.00 for each ride, it draws about 6,000 visitors a day. During the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays the number of visitors reach up to 350 thousands. The City Corporation earns about BDT 200 million annually from the park. The park is open Monday through Thursday and Saturday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. On Fridays, it is open from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Due to lack of maintenance the rides have deteriorated in condition. As of 2007, a City Corporation plan to revamp the park for BDT 9 billion waits for approval of the Ministry for Local Government and Rural Development.
The plan includes an expansion of the area to 19 acres (7.7 ha) and adding 16 new rides besides reinstalling the old rides.

Only oldest and historic amusement children park in Dhaka city. Entertainment cost is very low even any other amusement park. It is a government owned amusement park that operated by Dhaka south city corporation. Now a days they added some high cost ride, like 9D cinema, magic carpet and magic boat also.
