Its a public hospital for the people Republic of Bangladesh. Anyone can easily enter and take service 24 hours on emergency basis as well as daily visit allows except holiday on schedule basis. Its situated a beautiful location near high way and surrounded with different tress but patient pressure is so high on a general day.

One of the best hospital as well as medical college in Dhaka. They provide very good services. Almost every doctors and stuffs are well mannered here. As it is a government hospital, it costs almost free. But the problem is getting appointment. Lots of patient gather here everyday. In case, you have to wait a long. But as a public hospital, they are good enough. They have enough number of doctors, nurses and other stuffs. There are two hostel for medical students behind the hospital building and two for dental students. The full hospital campus is well decorated. Their pathology department is also good enough.

one of the most prominent government medical college and hospital. the quality of treatment is very good and the top class doctors are available here. It is also a COVID-19 vaccination hub in dhaka.

A great hospital for low and middle income population which is the highest population in Bangladesh . But if you consider by their medical services specially amenities, they don’t have much to serve.
Not enough equipped, but they have best doctors no doubt.

Shahid Sohrawardi Medical College u0026 Hospital is one if the bigest and most important govt. general Hospital in the capital, Dhaka. It is very important for all kinds of patients. People come here to treat themselves in different diseases. The Hospital proves diagnosis facilities in most of the acute u0026 severe diseases. It provides some free madicines in general cases. There are indoor, outdoor u0026 emergency facilities here. In maximum cases, the hospital authority provides free meals three times a day for the indoor patients. It serves after all best services.

Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College (ShSMC) is the 14th government medical college of Bangladesh which is established in 2006. It is situated in the north-western part of Dhaka beside the National Parliament House, having a unique architectural campus and excellent academic atmosphere. Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital has a long heritage of discharging health care services and also has a proud history of patronizing many medical institutes to establish and flourish. We have a great commitment to provide top class medical education, excellent training and quality research through eminent and experienced teachers.

Shaheed Suhrawardy Hospital was established in 1963 during the period of East Pakistan as Ayub Central Hospital for outdoor services. It was equipped with Pathological and Radiological supports. In addition to outdoor facilities, this medical organization then extended its service to indoor with 5 beds and subsequently with 25 beds. After independence through the great liberation war against

Pakistan in 1971, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman re-named this hospital in the name of great patriotic and legend of democracy of this land, late Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy as ‘Shaheed Suhrawardy Hospital’ and sanctioned 75 indoor beds with outpatient Service. This hospital has magnificent architectural beauty designed by famous architect Louis I Kahn who also designed the National Assembly House of Bangladesh, one of the best architectural buildings of the world. The hospital was then extended gradually in different forms as general hospital to extend services to this area as well to serve as central referral centre from whole Bangladesh especially the area of northern and western part of Bangladesh. In 1997, honorable prime minister, Sheikh Hasina inaugurated three storied new extension building behind outdoor with new decoration and 375 beded extended indoor facilities with major medical departments as well as pathology, radiology and causality service to accommodate all types of patients.
