It's place were we can face our past and to learn from the glory and sacrifices of our forefathers and specially the Bangladesh Police. The harsh conditions of the liberation war and the consequences on our people along the clash between our Police force and Liberation army with the invading force. The historical value aside the design of both internal and external side of the museum an architectural wonder on it's own.

Wow That's just awesome visit there. Rajarbagh, The place I grow up. Many of childhood memory here I have. After long time I visited there lots of change and more pristine and good place. The war museum is so significant in our life. This is also so differently good. Many of unknow story you find here. So visit it one time.

The Liberation War Museum was established to disseminate a non-partisan history of the War of Independence, and currently holds over 11,000 items in its collection. It is a living museum where history unfolds, leading visitors to realize how the fundamental principles of the 1972 Bangladesh Constitution of democracy, secularism, and nationalism evolved as the basis for an independent Bangladesh. The Liberation War Museum endeavors to link this history of popular struggle and sacrifices for democracy and national rights to contemporary events of human right abuses and fundamentalist tendencies.

The Liberation War Museum (Bengali: মুক্তিযুদ্ধ জাদুঘর) is a national museum at Agargaon in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, which commemorates the Bangladesh Liberation War that led to the independence of Bangladesh.
Over the years the museum collected more than 21,000 artifacts (as of 2016), with some as exhibits on display in the museum and many more stored in its archives. The museum describes itself as "the outcome of a citizens' effort" due to the crowd-funded nature of the museum (which is independent of the Govt. of Bangladesh) and the collective contribution of the general public to the museum's collection.
