One of the good u0026 specialised Hospital for TB Patient. It's a old hospital but people did not know about this hospital properly. Recently this hospital setup with modern technology to give proper govt. service to community.

Every people of Bangladesh can take treatment from Dr. about TB u0026 Asthma by only 10 tk ticket price.

Most of the asthma patient gets free medicine according to doctor advice.

All types of Diagnostic facility available here with reasonable price.

As per Bangladeshi people we can take medical service from here.

lot of low-income people come here to take medical service.

9 a.m. to 2 p.m. normal doctor gives visit u0026 medical advice.

Its one of the most important hospital for TB and asthma patients. Asthma patients get free medicine service and all patients can visit doctors only taka 10. Its government hospital but service is so nice i mean like a private hospital. Staff nurse and doctors behaviour so much professional. Hole hospital net and clean. Now its good working for covid vaccine. I took 1 to 3 Doss from here. Have not so much serials and have also beautiful place for rest. 9 out of 10.

This is a tertiary level centre for management of tuberculosis as well as chest diseases. It was established in 1963 as tuberculosis Control Project, Shyamoli. After liberation it was renamed National TB Control project, Shyamoli, since then treatment of tuberculosis, related investigations were going on as outdoor services. In 2015, after construction of new four stored building, this hospital renamed as 250 Bedded TB Hospital, Shyamoli, Dhaka and from January 2017, Honorable Minister for Health Family Welfare Md. Nasim MP inaugurated this newly built 250 Bed TB Hospital with facilities of 150 Bed indoor services (free bed, paying bed, cabin), 24 hours emergency services, Operation theater with thoracic surgery Gene X-part test Blood transfusion department, Chest physiotherapy department. From March 2018 spirometry and fiber optic Bronchoscope has been started for modern management of tuberculosis and chest disease. We hope in near future this institute will give better service to the people.

250 Bedded TB Hospital, Shamoly, Dhaka is the most equipped for TB treatment in Bangladesh.

This hospital began its activity in 1963 as a tuberculosis control project. Ami of this project was to treat tuberculosis other Chest disease patient and research of related subject. After Liberation 1971 under the leadership of our great leader father of nation Banga Bondhu Sheik Mojubur Rahman. it was Named National TB Control Project  Shyamoli Dhaka since then tuberculosis and other chest disease patient was treated as outdoor basics.

Later on, as there were increasing number of TB and Chest disease patient Government of Bangladesh has taken decision to convert this TB control project to full-fledged hospital which was named as " 250 Bedded TB Hospital" Shyamoli, Dhaka. Honorable Minister, Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Md. Nasim MP inaugurated this institute in January,2017 with indoor outdoor and operative facilities.

This hospital renamed as 250 Bedded TB Hospital, Shyamoli, Dhaka from January 2017, Honorable Minister for Health Family Welfare Md. Nasim MP inaugurated this newly built 250 Bed TB Hospital with facilities of 150 Bed indoor services (free bed, paying bed, cabin), 24 hours emergency services, Operation theater with thoracic surgery, Gene X-part test. From March 2018 spirometry and fiber optic Bronchoscope, ICU, HDU also has been started for modern management of tuberculosis and chest disease.  Dengue and Covid-19 treatment is also started in this pandemic. Negative Pressure Biosafety level-2 lab has been setup by IDDS. Negative Pressure ICU, HDU, Male u0026 Female MDR ward has been established as one stop service center for Tuberculosis by ACTB. Both are USAID funded.

We hope that this hospital will become a center of excellence in very short time.

This is a government specialized hospital with all modern facilities for all people. Very helpful for general public, specially financially poor people. Though due to lack of awareness we couldn't find this easily. All should know and share this information with others.
